About Me
Flowers have always been part of my life. My mother is a florist and from an early age, I was surrounded by her appreciation for nature and the beauty of the natural world. I grew up in an environment — both demographically and socially — that quietly fostered my own love for flowers, gardens, and colour.
Before floristry became my full-time focus, I explored a few different paths — nursing, hospitality, the corporate world, and horticulture. But for the past five years, I’ve been working with flowers every day, and I’ve never looked back.
My style is very natural — I like flowers to look as they would in the wild. I’m not drawn to symmetry, and I truly believe you can never have too much colour. I dry many of my own flowers and love the process of preserving them in new and beautiful ways. Natives are a big love of mine, and hydrangeas have a special place in my heart.
When I’m not flowering weddings or working on dried arrangements, you’ll find me pottering in the veggie patch I’ve planted at my dear neighbour’s place — full of fruit trees, herbs, and plenty of blooms to play with.
I absolutely love working with brides. There’s something really special about that moment when they first see their flowers — it all suddenly becomes real. It’s joyful, emotional, and such a privilege to be part of it.
Floristry allows me to be creative, to connect, and to express something that’s hard to put into words. One of my favourite sayings is: “Knowledge is limited. Imagination is not.” That really sums up how I like to approach my work — with freedom, heart, and a little wildness.
And lastly, a quiet thank you to Henry — a rare kind of gentleman.
